  • Hi Don.I like your YouTube blogs. What would you think of powering a Pi-Top laptop with a Tinker Board? They are available in Australia for around $99 Aud for just the board. As the Tinker Board is pretty much an up powered clone of the RPi B/2/3 it looks like it should simply plug in. My only concern is additional heat and no Raspbian - but a Debian district similar to it.

    It doesn’t sound like Raspberry Pi Org are going to upgrade the Pi3 any time soon. My guess is the Tinker Board with 2GB RAM and higher clock speed should be sprightlier than RPi3 and potentially a better day-to-day Linux laptop alternative.
