In order for you to activate office you will need to add some keys into the registry.
Next you will have to navigate to the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform. Add the following string values under this key:
KeyManagementServiceName(insert server address)KeyManagementServicePort(insert server port, default 1688)
If you don’t know the values for your server ask your Sys Admin or look them up in regedit on a windows machine that has an activated copy.
Now open and exit any office application. A new key should have been created under HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-20\Software\Microsoft\OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform
(You may have to refresh the registry editor with F5 to see it,)
Under this new key now add a new binary value:
VLRenewalSchedule(any value)
Now run the KMSEmulator.exe with wine and wait for a prompt to come up. Once the prompt comes up Open any Office product and it should automatically activate.

where the heck is KMSemulator.exe ?
KMSemulator is considered a malicious software and you can find it in almost any torrent site, but sorry i will not be hosting it.
What is the server address? Where can I get it?
My Office 2013 Professional Plus installed under WINE is not requesting KMS activation (server is working and responding properly). I have completed the steps listed here, and the addresses are correct. Is there any way I can attempt to manually trigger the activation process?

it lacks of clear information.. All the instructions do not work since kmsactivator doesn't even work since Wine lacks of certain components to activate Office.
The only way to activate Office is with a KMS license server on a company or buying the real thing.
If you really can activate office, why not give clear instructions and links?.

I found the instructions pretty clear. It's actually written like a memo annotation and not like a beginners follow up guide. KMSEmulator would replace the KMS License Server, you just have to run it in your Wine's instance, after modifying it's registry as explained.
